Dr. Siddhant Thapliyal

Assistant Professor Computer Science and Engineering

Dr. S. Thapliyal actively contributes to the academic ecosystem through research- driven initiatives, organization of national-level hackathons, faculty development programs, and technical workshops. His research focuses on cybersecurity, IoT- enabled systems, AI-driven security, and blockchain-based solutions, and he is deeply involved in student mentoring, project development, and skill-oriented training, fostering innovation and industry readiness.

He was conferred with the Research Excellence Award – 2024 by Graphic Era Deemed to Be University. He has demonstrated strong academic performance and research excellence, with 70+ publications in Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, 10+ publications in SCI-indexed journals,conference and multiple published patents. He was also honored for his outstanding placement performance during his studies, having cleared multiple companies during placements, and has successfully cleared government competitive examinations.
