


Assistant Professor Computer Science and Engineering
Kamal Kumar Gola is an academic professional in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with over 16 years of experience in teaching and research. He is UGC-NET qualified (2025), eligible for Ph.D. admission, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India.
He has received several prestigious awards and recognitions for his academic and research contributions. These include the Researcher of the Year Award with Certificates of Appreciation in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as the Young Researcher Award (2022) and the Best Researcher Award (2024). His research contributions have been recognized through multiple paper awards, including an Outstanding Paper Award (2020), a Best Paper Award (2024), and a Best Student Paper Award (Co-Author) (2025). He was also a Travel Grant Awardee for participation in the prestigious CCGRID Conference (CORE Rank-A) (2023) and was recognized as an NPTEL Discipline Star (2019). He has delivered expert lectures on OpenAI Tools and Research Tools in Computer Science and Engineering. He also served as Co-Principal Investigator for the approved project titled “The Internet of Things: Building a Connected World” (2023). He has published over 120 research papers in national and international journals and conferences and actively participates in academic and research activities. His research interests include Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks, Algorithm Design and Analysis, and Information Security.
