He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, with over 17 years of academic experience. His teaching expertise includes C Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Graphics, Network Security, and Cyber Security.

His research interests include Cloud Security, Cryptography, Cyber Security, Network Security, and Trust Management. He has guided more than 10 postgraduate (M.Tech) students in their theses and has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate projects. He has also been actively involved in academic administration and institutional academic activities across multiple engineering and technical institutions, contributing in roles such as Course Coordinator, Member of Academic Councils, and Academic Progress Committees.

He is a Lifetime Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and has published more than 10 research papers in reputed IEEE, ACM, and Springer journals and conference proceedings. He has participated in several faculty development programs and industry-oriented training programs conducted by IBM, Oracle, EC- Council, IIT Bombay, NITTTR Chandigarh, AKTU Lucknow, and ATAL Labs.

He has delivered guest lectures at numerous academic institutions and actively contributes to both online and offline academic activities, focusing on academic enrichment and knowledge dissemination.
