Aqueel Ahmad serves as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University). He specializes in sustainable energy solutions, energy and emission control, and the utilization of alternative fuels like hydrogen, biogas, biodiesel, and ethanol in internal combustion (IC) engines. His research also encompasses the modeling and optimization of engine parameters using advanced soft computing techniques. Ahmad holds an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Science and Engineering) from NIT Agartala and has submitted his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly NSIT-Delhi University), New Delhi, in October 2024.

With over 7 years of combined teaching and research experience, including four years at NSUT Delhi, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication to mentoring and inspiring students. His contributions include authoring 27 SCI-indexed and 4 Scopus-indexed journal articles and presenting his work at several international conferences. Ahmad’s ongoing research focuses on developing sustainable energy solutions and advancing the use of alternative biofuels in IC engines, aiming to address global energy and environmental challenges.
