Dr. Ashutosh Hajela is a graduate in Science and Law from the University of Allahabad. He has to his credit a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Allahabad and a Ph.D in Law from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. He has been a recipient of prestigious Sir Henray Richards Gold Medal, Lumsden Gold Medal, Ram Monohar De Gold Medal and the Chancellor’s Medal by the University of Allahabad for his performance in his LL. B studies.

His doctoral work is in the field of appointments in Higher Judiciary and accountability of the Judges of the Constitutional Courts. Dr. Hajela, after clearing UGC Net in 2003, has been associated with prestigious Institutions like Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi, Amity University, Noida and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, deemed to be University, Mumbai, Indore Campus, in his 22 years of teaching experience. He has also been associated with the Delhi University and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidylaya, Indore in part-time and guest lecture assignments. His subject areas of interest hover around Constitutional Studies, Administrative Governance and Criminal Jurisprudence in which he has plural research publications.
