Dr. Manaswi Semwal is a prominent scholar at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to teaching and research in Political Science. She serves as a Member of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program (VBYCP), a Government of India flagship initiative empowering youth toward Viksit Bharat @2047, and as departmental representative at the Centre for Indian Knowledge System. Dr. Semwal is an accomplished researcher whose work is featured in prestigious international, Web of Science journals, peerreviewed, Ministry of Higher Education (Govt. of India) and UGC Care-listed. She serves as a recognized peer reviewer for Cogent Social Sciences (Taylor & Francis) and Routledge. Her contribution to academic literature is further highlighted by co-authoring three foundational Political Science textbooks specifically designed for the National Education Policy (NEP) curriculum. Dr. Semwal’s research explores governance, juridical studies, public policy, regional political dynamics, environmental law, federalism, legal pluralism, and climate justice in multilevel governance frameworks. Through student mentoring and interdisciplinary projects, she fosters critical thinking and academic excellence.
