Dr. Neha Pandey

Assistant Professor Biosciences

Dr Neha Pandey, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India, since 2019. Her area of expertise is Extremophiles, microbial diversity, polyketides (pigments) from microorganisms, rhizosphere study, antimicrobial activity. Currently, she is handling two Projects entitled – “Bioprospecting High Altitude Small Millets for Capacity Building of Hill People” sponsored by IERP-GBPNIHE (MoEF & CC), India and "Bioprospecting cold tolerant fungi, isolated from Uttarakhand soil, for the production of natural pigments" sponsored by UCOST, Dehradun. Dr. Pandey has guided one PhD Scholar till now and 3 are currently persuing PhD under her guidance. She is a reviewer in Journals like Plant Science Today, Defence Life Science Journal, Frontiers etc. She has published a total of 34 research, review papers and book chapters in highly reputed journals such as Fungal Biology, Mycology, Mycosphere, Heylion, Journal of traditional and complementary medicine, Springer Nature Ltd., etc.
