Dr. Sayantika Bhattacharya is working as an Assistant Professor with expertise in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry. Her academic and research experience focuses on soil fertility assessment, nutrient management, soil organic carbon dynamics, sustainable agriculture, and watershed ecosystem management. Her research also includes work on biochar, remote sensing and GIS applications in soil resource mapping, land degradation, soil quality assessment, and emerging contaminants in soils. She has qualified ICAR-JRF, ICAR-SRF and ASRB-NET examinations. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, conference presentations, and interdisciplinary research activities related to soil sustainability and climate-smart agriculture.
