Dr. Vivek Pathak has completed his degree in agriculture from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. He has worked as Senior Research Fellow and Field Investigator, and then joined SGRR(PG) college as Lecturer in 2012. Later, he joined Sumitomo Chemicals India Ltd., (Japan based industry), as Associate Manager, Research in Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) from 2012 to 2021, working closely with different crops cultivation and applicability. His expertise is on Paddy with various aspects of fertility and consequences over the growth and development. He was also a Research Fellow in rural development project of N.I.R.D. (Hyderabad) and C-DAP from 2008 to 2009. Not only this, He has worked as Graduate Research Assistant for one and half year in the project “A. I. C. R. P. on long term soil- fertility experiment” during his Master’s Degree Programme. He has evaluated the effect and consequences of inorganic fertilizers on soil fertility and crop productivity under long term soil- fertility experiment, during his dissertation. Additionally, he has evaluated the effect of different method of sowing in rice and wheat crop and check many suitable cropping system for the sustainability and monetary benefits under All India Co-ordinated Project on cropping system research
