


Assistant Professor Design
Bhuvan is a Visual Artist and an Interaction + Experiential designer working at the intersection of technology, visual culture, and playful curiosity. His journey took him from engineering to a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, NY, with international stints in co-design and interaction at leading institutions across Europe. He’s also majored in Art History and Visual Communication during his M.A. from Srishti Institute of Art and design, Bangalore, from which he later dropped out to pursue his M.F.A. from New York .
Bhuvan has shaped user experiences for national museums, worked as a prolific Graphic Designer, designed games that spark self-driven discovery, and collaborated with some of India’s top film directors and advertising agencies in Production Design.
His practice weaves together storytelling, gamification, systems thinking, and creative coding to tackle wicked problems in imaginative ways. Whether it be being immersed in building tactile interactions in physical spaces or crafting dynamic digital worlds, he loves sparking curiosity, wonder, and a touch of humor in everything. As an educator and maker, Bhuvan enjoys mentoring mind-bending design projects, experimenting with emerging media, and collaborating across disciplines—because he believes the best ideas come when diverse talents collide!
His key achievements include international grants and creative awards, creating engaging data art, producing innovative UX for museums, and developing immersive games. He has also worked in Designer’s Making Spaces with fabrications and materiality, helping with design prototyping projects.
