Dr. Abhilasha Mishra is currently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, where she joined in 2016. She holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, and brings over 19 years of teaching and research experience.
Her research expertise lies in nanomaterials, nanostructured smart coatings, biomaterials, water remediation using nanomaterials, and enhancing solar cell efficiencies. She has published more than 100 research papers and book chapters in reputed SCI and SCOPUS indexed journals and books.
Dr. Mishra has successfully completed two DST-funded research projects with a cumulative funding exceeding ₹1 crore and has established a dedicated Nanomaterials Research Laboratory at Graphic Era University. Under her supervision, 7 Ph.D. scholars have completed their research, while 8 are currently pursuing their doctoral work.
She has an impressive innovation record with 38 published patents, including 11 granted patents. In addition, she has delivered numerous invited lectures at government and private organizations and has received several research awards in recognition of her contributions to the field of nanomaterials.
