A research paper “A sustainable production model for waste management with uncertain scrap and recycled material,” published in the Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management (Springer Nature), June 2022, has received the Outstanding Paper Award. The award is presented by the Japan Society of Material Cycles and Waste Management (JSMCWM), in cooperation with the Korea Society of Waste Management (KSWM), recognizing outstanding international research contributions in the field of material cycles and waste management. The award also carries a prize of 100,000 JPY received by Prof. Anand Chauhan, Department of Allied Science (Mathematics), Graphic Era Deemed to be University.
According to the journal announcement, the selection was made from around 500 papers published worldwide during 2022–2023, with only four papers receiving this recognition as an Outstanding Paper Award.
