Dr. Shristi Kharola

Assistant Professor Mathematics

Dr. Shristi Kharola received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India, in May 2023. Her research interests lie in the areas of Reliability Theory of Engineering, Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques, and sustainable systems, with a strong multidisciplinary research orientation. She joined the Department of Mathematics, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), as an Assistant Professor (Research) in 2023. Dr. Kharola is an active researcher and has contributed extensively to her research domains through publications, conference presentations, and collaborative projects. She has served as the Editor of two academic books titled Advances in Soft Computing Applications and Advances in Mathematics for Engineering Sciences. As of 2025, she has presented her research work at nine international conferences and continues to actively engage in international research dissemination. She has also played a significant role in academic event management, having co-organized four international conferences, along with several workshops and guest lectures in research-focused domains. Dr. Kharola has contributed as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an international collaborative research project on sustainable development involving institutions from India, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, funded by USERC, India. She is an active reviewer for various reputed journals and IEEE conferences series and currently serves as an Early Career Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Mathematical, Engineering and Management Sciences. In addition to her research activities, she is currently guiding two research scholars in the areas of Reliability Theory of Engineering and Multi-Criteria Decision-Making techniques. She is also actively involved in teaching undergraduate students from B.Tech., B.Sc. (IT), B.Sc. (CS), and BCA programs, handling courses such as Engineering Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Optimization Techniques, and related subjects. Dr. Kharola is also engaged in social upliftment initiatives, particularly in areas related to education and national development.
