He is a Professor in the Computer Application Department
at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, where
he has been serving with dedication since July 2000. He
brings with him more than 25 years of extensive teaching
experience along with 6 years of valuable industry
exposure, reflecting a strong integration of academic
excellence and practical insight.
He earned his Ph.D. from
Kumaun University, Nainital, in 2014. He has held
significant administrative and leadership responsibilities at
the university, serving as Chief Proctor since September
2014 and as NSS Programme Officer since 2010. His
commitment to social responsibility and community
engagement has been recognized through the Highest
Blood Donation Award, received for three consecutive
years (2010–2012) from USACS and SBTC, Uttarakhand.
His research interests include Hydrodynamics and
Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Flows, as well as Software
Engineering, Software Testing, Software Reliability, e-
Governance, Business Systems Design, and Project
Management.
He has published several research papers in
reputed journals and conferences and has authored three
academic books in the areas of computer fundamentals, C
programming, and management information systems.
His teaching interests span RDBMS, ERP, Software
Engineering, Software Testing, Management Information
Systems, Supply Chain Management, Customer
Relationship Management, and e-Governance. He has
actively participated in and organized numerous national
and international conferences, workshops, and faculty
development programs.
