Dr. Amita Shilpa Gottlieb is a distinguished academic leader and Principal Cum Professor at Graphic Era College of Nursing, Dehradun. With extensive experience in nursing education, clinical practice, and research, she has significantly contributed to advancing academic excellence and professional training in nursing. She holds dual PhDs in Psychology and Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing along with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.), reflecting her strong academic and research background. Her expertise spans maternal and child health, mental health, and healthcare administration. Dr. Gottlieb has been instrumental in implementing innovative teaching methodologies, strengthening clinical training, and fostering research culture among students and faculty. Under her leadership, the institution has achieved notable milestones in education quality and skill development. She has been honored with the Best Principal Award at the ArdorComm Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2025 and at the 10th Higher Education Innovation & Technology Summit & Awards 2026 for her contribution to education, digital empowerment, and employability.
