Dr. Bajarang Prasad Mishra is a seasoned academician and defense veteran. Having served the nation for two decades in the Indian Air Force (technical branch), he possesses extensive hands-on expertise in air-borne and ground-based navigation and communication systems. Following his voluntary retirement from the IAF in 2005, Dr. Mishra transitioned to academics. Over the past two decades, he has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Associate Professor (ECE), Head of Department, Institute Nodal Officer, and Dean at reputed higher education institutions. He has seven patents published, including one awarded patent, and has made significant research contributions through several research papers and conference publications indexed in Scopus and other reputed journals. In 2024, Dr. Mishra secured a three-year research grant from the Council of Science & Technology (CST), Government of Uttar Pradesh, for a project focused on IoT and Machine Learning-based Stress Detection Techniques. Since 04 October 2025, he has been serving as Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, Dehradun.
