Dr Bharti Sharma joined the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun as an Assistant Professor in August 2021. Dr. Bharti has substantial experience of teaching Master and Bachelor courses in Political Science and has rich experience in teaching Political thought, Comparative Politics and world order, for eight years . Dr. Bharti has written for many journals of good repute including Scopus, contributed chapters for books and research articles for The Hindu. She has been associated with the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS)- New Delhi for a long time, for conducting voting behaviour studies in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. She has been actively involved as a member of BOS and guiding and supervising PhD Scholars. Along with performing her academic role, she is also rendering few administrative responsibilities in the University. Currently she is also working as Deputy Director, Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), GEU . She has been associated with Debating Society (DEBSOC) and Your Parliament society (YPS) as Faculty coordinator. Furthermore, she runs an NGO named as Satat Aarohanam which works for constitutional morality and developing reading habits amongst the youngsters.
