Dr. Bheem Pratap

Assistant Professor Civil Engineering

Dr. Bheem Pratap is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun (NIRF 48). He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geoenvironmental Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur in 2024 and has been recognized among the Top 2% Scientists worldwide by Elsevier and Stanford University (2025). His research focuses on geopolymer concrete, industrial waste utilization, ground improvement, geoenvironmental engineering, and the application of machine learning in civil engineering materials and structures. Dr. Pratap has published extensively in high-impact SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, with over 660 citations, an H-index of 17, and multiple published patents in sustainable construction materials. He actively supervises Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. research scholars and teaches core undergraduate courses such as Mechanics of Solids, Transportation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. He also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for reputed international journals.
