Dr. Deepak Asrani is a distinguished academician and computer science professional with over 33 years of experience. He has held several key leadership positions including Officiating Director, Dean-Academics, Head of Department, and NBA Coordinator in reputed technical institutions. His areas of expertise and research interest include Data Management Systems, Data Warehousing & Analytics, Computer Networks, Object Oriented System, Cloud Computing, and Big Data.

He is currently working as a Professor (Computer Science & Engineering) at Graphic Era Deemed University, Dehradun (NAAC A+ Accredited).

Over the years, he has guided numerous PhD, M.Tech, B.Tech, MCA, and BCA scholars, organized Faculty Development Programs, and served in many academic administrative committees.

Dr. Asrani has published multiple research papers in international journals and IEEE conferences, with recent work in cybersecurity, machine learning, and intelligent monitoring systems. He has also authored two books on Database Management Systems and Machine Learning published in 2023.

Additionally, he holds patents in areas integrating IoT and Machine Learning, particularly in early warning systems and intelligent risk assessment.

His professional journey is strengthened by earlier roles in system integration, networking, and database administration during his industry tenure supporting IIT Kanpur infrastructure systems
