Dr. Deepak Gaur is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 18+ years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional development. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, Dehradun. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Amity University, Noida, with M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh and B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. A strong advocate of student-centered active learning, Dr. Deepak Gaur has successfully implemented the Student-Centered Active Learning approach, emphasizing experiential learning, project-based learning, collaborative problem- solving, peer instruction, formative assessment, and real-world application of concepts. His teaching philosophy focuses on outcome-based education, Bloom’s and SOLO taxonomy alignment, and continuous learner engagement, enabling students to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners.

Dr. Deepak Gaur’s research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural language processing (NLP) and Data Science. He has research portfolio with 30+ research paper in Scopus indexed and Science Citation Index (SCI) publications. He actively collaborates with international researchers and serves as a reviewer for reputed conferences and journals.
