


Assistant Professor Biosciences
Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences, Dr. D.P. Singh brings over 10 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His areas of expertise include Genetics & Molecular Biology, Physiology and Immunology, with current focus on lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypoxia biology and preclinical studies. His doctoral research explored hypoxic preconditioning for high-altitude acclimatisation, and he has hands-on experience in protein purification and recombinant vaccine and pre-clinical studies in animal models. Dr. Singh has authored over 20 research papers in reputed national and international journals (SCI & Scopus indexed). He has organised a few funded conferences and workshops, presented research at numerous academic forums, and participated in more than 30 scientific events. Dr. Singh currently serves as Joint Secretary of the Seabuckthorn Association of India.
