Era (Deemed to be) University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Dr Gill joined the prestigious Graphic Era (Deemed to be)
University on 1 June 2009. Dr Gill has 20 years of teaching experience at the UG and PG levels. Dr Gill is guiding
the research scholars under him working in the contemporary research area ‘Energy’. He holds one granted patent.
Under the supervision of Dr Gill, five scholars have successfully completed their Ph.D. programs and are now serving
at institutes of repute. Dr Gill is self-motivated to improve teaching pedagogy. Apart from his research interest,
he is also interested in imparting basic knowledge of physics subjects through animation. He has created animations
for many physics concepts at the UG level. This effort has been found to create interest among students in the
subject and to help them better understand the concepts.
