Dr. Keerat Kumar Gupta

Professor & Head Civil Engineering

Dr. Keerat Kumar Gupta is a senior faculty member with over 37 years of professional experience, including more than three decades in teaching and research. He is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, and has also held the responsibility of Head of the Department on multiple occasions. His academic contributions include curriculum design, laboratory development, and academic administration at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His teaching expertise spans Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics and Fluid machinery, Irrigation Engineering, Dams and Hydraulic Structures, Water Power Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. Dr. Gupta has published extensively in reputed Scopus and SCI indexed journals and international conferences, with research focus on hydraulics, water resources engineering, and interdisciplinary applications in civil engineering.
