Dr. Kumud Pant

Professor Biosciences

Dr. Kumud Pant has her masters in Biotechnology from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. She did her Ph. D. in Bioinformatics from NIT, Bhopal. Dr. Pant’s major area of research is

Bioinformatics and Applications of Artificial Intellugence algorithms in biological data. Dr. Pant has more than 15 years of teaching experience to U.G. and P.G. students. She has contributed many chapters in books. She has been granted two (2) research projects by state funding agency of Uttarakhand (UCOST) and 1 by Uttarakhand COuncil for Biotechnology (1).

4 students have been awarded Ph.D. under her and 8 are in the advance stage of writing thesis. Dr. Pant has been felicitated with top researcher award by Graphic Era Deemed to be University.
