Prof. (Dr.) Manish Sharma is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, with over 20 years of professional experience, including 18 years in academics and 2 years in the IT industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, with research focused on intelligent and secure recommender systems using machine learning, along with M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering.

His teaching and research expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Recommendation Systems, Internet of Things, Time Series Analysis, Full Stack Web Development, Mobile Application Development, Agile Software Engineering, Human–Computer Interaction, and Database Management Systems. He possesses strong experience in full-stack and mobile application development, modern software engineering practices, and emerging technologies.

Dr. Sharma is actively involved in academic leadership, curriculum development, faculty training, accreditation-related academic processes, student mentoring, and departmental academic coordination. He is a Wipro TalentNext Certified Faculty, Adobe Certified Master Educator, and an active professional member of IEEE, ACM, and ISTE. He maintains active research profiles on Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, ORCID, and VIDWAN, reflecting his sustained research contributions.
