Dr. Manoj Diwakar is an accomplished academician, researcher, and technology leader in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, currently serving as Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun. With a distinguished academic career spanning teaching, research, publications, and institutional development, he has contributed significantly to emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Smart Healthcare Systems.
His scholarly influence is reflected in his recognition among the Top 2% Scientists in the World by the Stanford University–Elsevier global scientist ranking, and his ranking within the top 0.05% of researchers worldwide in ScholarGPS evaluations, underscoring his sustained research impact on the global stage. Dr. Diwakar has authored and co- authored more than 250 high-quality research papers indexed in SCI, SCIE, Scopus, and leading IEEE/ACM proceedings. He has successfully supervised multiple Ph.D. scholars and guided several postgraduate and undergraduate dissertation projects in interdisciplinary domains.
He holds several distinguished editorial appointments, serving as Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor, Guest Editor, Reviewer, and Editorial Board Member for reputed international journals and publishing platforms including Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, CRC Press, Bentham Science, IGI Global, ICCK Publishing, and others. He has further contributed to academic publishing by editing and authoring multiple international books with leading publishers such as Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, CRC Press, and Bentham Science. In addition to his scholarly contributions, Dr. Diwakar has played an active leadership role in academia by organizing and chairing numerous international conferences, special sessions, and technical events in collaboration with premier publishers such as IEEE and Springer.
