Associate Professor Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Narayan Chaturvedi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, after completing his Bachelor’s degree from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering. His research focuses on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing, with emphasis on recommendation systems, data-driven modeling, and intelligent decision- support systems for smart urban environments. He actively supervises research scholars and leads departmental research initiatives through the Department Research Committee (DRC), contributing to high-quality and application-oriented AI research.
Research PublicationsA significant part of his work addresses spatio-temporal analysis of urban traffic and transportation systems, leveraging clustering algorithms, social media data, and geo-spatial analytics to model traffic behavior, detect incidents, and analyze public sentiment related to urban mobility.
Dr. Chaturvedi has contributed to recommendation systems, particularly focusing on machine unlearning to address privacy and personalization challenges. His recent research also extends to deep learning applications in diverse domains such as agricultural disease detection, AI- generated image classification, election sentiment analysis, and wireless communication networks.
