Dr. Nikita Rawat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. She completed her B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2013 from Uttarakhand Technical University, followed by an M.Tech in Control Systems in 2015 and a Ph.D. in 2022 from Graphic Era Deemed to be University. Her academic and research interests lie in the areas of power quality, power electronics, control systems, optimization techniques, and solar photovoltaic systems. She has authored several Scopus-indexed research publications, including papers published in SCI-indexed and high-impact international journals such as Optik, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, International Journal of Energy Research, and Materials Today: Proceedings. Her research work primarily focuses on power quality detection and improvement, advanced control strategies, and solar PV parameter estimation. Her most impactful contributions, which have received significant citations, focus on solar photovoltaic system modeling and parameter estimation using hybrid and metaheuristic optimization techniques, with an emphasis on improving accuracy, efficiency, and performance evaluation.
