Dr. Pradeep Bedi is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 20+ years of experience in teaching (India and abroad), research, academic administration, and institutional development. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, Dehradun. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from a Central University, along with M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering, and is UGC-NET and GATE qualified. A strong advocate of student-centred active learning, Dr. Bedi has successfully implemented the Student-Centred Active Learning approach, emphasizing experiential learning, project-based learning, collaborative problem-solving, peer instruction, formative assessment, and real-world application of concepts. Dr. Bedi’s research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Wireless Body Area Networks, Quantum Computing, Blockchain, Dark Web Analysis, and Smart Healthcare Systems. He has an extensive research portfolio with 50+ Scopus-indexed publications, 24+ SCI/WoS papers, multiple patents, book chapters, and an authored book. He actively collaborates with international researchers and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals (Heliyon, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Cybernetics and Systems, Scientific Reports, Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, Wireless Personal Communications) and IEEE/Springer conferences.
