Dr. Sachin Ghai has more than two decades of academic, research and consulting experience. He is a prolific trainer, and a renowned startup mentor and business coach. He has offered leadership as Head of the Department to Departments of Economics, Computers, Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Professional Communication at various levels. His areas of academic interest are Economics, Management, Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, Innovation, Communication, Soft-skills, and Personality Development. His forte lies in Training & Development, Instructional design, Technology enabled teaching, Academic administration, Outcome based education, Management and Business Consulting.
He is actively involved in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship as Vice President of Institution Innovation Council and Director of the Technology Business Incubator at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun. He has mentored several startups and enabled aspiring entrepreneurs and budding innovators in developing their ventures and upscaling them. He has offered Consultancy services to industry and conducted Management Development programs & trainings for Senior & Middle management for reputed public and private sector organizations and has conducted several Faculty Development Programmes and Workshops as an expert/resource-person. He has been felicitated by various national and foreign organizations like for his contribution like CASFOS India, Times Group, FTP University Vietnam, etc.
He has to his credit presentations in International Conferences, FDPs and Workshops at premier institutions like Harvard University (USA), IIM-A, IIM-L, IIT-R, MNNIT-A, IIIT-A and others. He has delivered several keynote addresses in Conferences & Seminars, and has published over 25 research papers and book chapters in National and International Journals in areas of Innovation, Management, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, etc. He has been Editorial Advisory Board member and reviewer for the Book – “Promoting Socio-Economic Development through Business Integration” and has also copy-edited an international book on Development Economics titled ‘Dialogues on Development and Dependency Theory’. He has been invited as an expert / guest on Television for Career guidance and Economic policy & Budget analysis and related discussions, and has also written career counseling column for Newspapers.
