Dr. Sandeep Gupta is a highly accomplished academician, researcher, and electrical engineering professional with over 16 years of combined experience encompassing 11+ years of teaching, 4 years of research, and 1 year of industry exposure. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, contributing extensively to teaching, research, accreditation (NAAC), institutional committees, and academic leadership roles. Dr. Gupta has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Power Systems, Control Systems, High Voltage Engineering, Smart Grid, FACTS, Renewable Energy Systems, and Modern Control Theory. He is proficient in MATLAB, LabVIEW, Scilab, and power system simulation tools, and has completed the NPTEL certification in Artificial Intelligence. An active researcher, he has an impressive publication record with 30+ SCI/Scopus journal papers, 80+ international conference publications, 9 national conferences, 15+ book chapters, five books, and editorial and reviewer contributions. His interdisciplinary research spans power engineering, AI, IoT/IIoT, electric vehicles, smart energy systems, cybersecurity, healthcare analytics, and sustainability. He holds multiple granted patents and registered designs in India and the UK, reflecting his strong orientation toward innovation and technology commercialization. Dr. Gupta has successfully organized multiple international conferences, workshops, FDPs, and seminars, and is a member or fellow of several prestigious professional bodies, including IEEE, ISTE, IE, IAENG, IRED, SESI, among others. His academic vision is aligned with innovation-driven education, sustainable energy systems, and industry–academia collaboration.
