Dr. Saurabh Gangola

Assistant Professor Microbiology

Dr. Saurabh Gangola is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He earned his doctorate in Microbiology. His research interests include the biodegradation and bioremediation of xenobiotic compounds, such as pesticides, dyes, heavy metals, and polyaromatic hydrocarbons. He has over six years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Gangola received the Governor’s Research Award in 2019, Uttarakhand. He has published numerous research papers and review articles in reputed journals, contributed book chapters, edited books (Springer and Elsevier), and filed patents. He has also served as a guest editor for special issues in Scientific Reports and Frontiers in Microbiology and is a valued editorial board member of several national and international journals.
