Dr. Vikas Tripathi

Professor Computer Science and Engineering

Dr. Vikas Tripathi is working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun. With over 15 years of experience in academia and research, he holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision.

An accomplished mentor, Dr. Tripathi has supervised four successful Ph.D. candidates, with three more in the advanced stages of their research. His mentorship also extends to over 26 M.Tech dissertations and five international internships. His research interests include Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Video Analytics. To date, he has published over 190 research papers in prestigious national and international journals and conferences. Additionally, he holds seven granted Indian patents and has published more than 35 patent applications.
