Dr. Vinay Kumar

Associate Professor Electronics and Communication Engineering

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, with over 13 years of teaching and research experience. My research focuses on advanced semiconductor and nanomaterials, low-power and beyond-CMOS devices, nano-enabled sensors, and VLSI technologies, aligned with the national objectives of the Semicon India mission. I have published extensively in high-impact international journals, including eight Q1 SCI and eight Q2 SCI publications, along with Scopus-indexed journals and conference papers. My work spans nanomaterial synthesis, tunnel field-effect transistors, optoelectronic materials, and environmental and gas sensors. I am actively engaged in bridging materials research with device- and circuit-level design, contributing to indigenous semiconductor development, sensor innovation, and capacity building in advanced electronics and nanotechnology.
