Dr. Vinay Kumar Pandey

Associate Professor Food Science and Technology

Dr. Vinay Kumar Pandey is a distinguished academician and researcher specializing in Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Packaging, and Food Waste Utilization. He currently serves as Associate Professor at Department of Food Science and Technology, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India 248002. Dr. Pandey has made significant contributions to the field, with over 3500+ citations and an h-index of 35, reflecting the impact of his research on the academic community. His work primarily focuses on the development of innovative food processing technologies, sustainable packaging solutions, and the valorization of food waste into valuable products. He has authored 152 publications in SCOPUS/SCI journals, addressing contemporary challenges in the food industry. He has also received a Project from UCOST as Co-PI. He is also serving as editorial board member in high impact journals like Scientific Reports, Discover Sustainability, and Frontiers in Sustainable Food Technology etc. Recently he is recognized among World Top 2% Scientist as per the data published by Elsevier and Stanford University.
