She is an accomplished academician and researcher currently serving as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India, with over 15 years of teaching, research, and international academic experience in higher education. Her research interests include software engineering, machine learning and Intelligent systems, with a prolific scholarly record comprising 15+ SCI/SCOPUS- indexed journal publications, 30+ IEEE/Scopus conference papers, an edited book, and multiple book chapters with leading publishers such as Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, IGI Global, Bentham, and Routledge. She has received the Research Excellence Award (2024) and holds granted and published patents in artificial intelligence and digital systems. Dr. Agarwal actively contributes as a session chair, reviewer, conference organizer, and Ph.D. supervisor, while also leading FDPs, workshops, and institutional innovation initiatives, making her a prominent contributor to academic excellence, interdisciplinary research, and industry-aligned innovation in emerging computing technologies.
