Prof. Ajay Kumar is presently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Petroleum Engineering at the Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India. He received the Bachelor of Engineering (BE-Chemical Engineering degree in 2010, and M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) in 2013 from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Guwahati) Assam, India. Currently Pursuing Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. He has taught several core courses both in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and Earth Sciences like Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer Petroleum Refining Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Natural Gas Engineering, Geochemistry, Geochemical prospecting in oil and gas exploration etc. as well as advanced courses like Advanced EOR Technique. He joined Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department NIMS University, Jaipur Rajasthan, India, and worked there for 4 years (2013-2017). The major areas of his research interests are Petroleum Refining Engineering, Advanced EOR mechanisms, Renewable Source of Energy Biomass/Biofuels Conversion Mr. Kumar has member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Institutions of Engineers India, (IEI) membership.
