Mr. Deepak Bahuguna

Assistant Professor Civil Engineering

Mr. Deepak Bahuguna is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering. He is involved in teaching undergraduate courses related to structural analysis and design, with emphasis on reinforced concrete structures and fundamental concepts of structural behaviour.

He has limited but growing research exposure in the field of structural engineering, with interests in analytical and numerical approaches for evaluating the response of structures under different loading conditions. His academic interests include structural performance of buildings, application of codal provisions in design, and understanding of structural response under seismic actions.

Mr. Bahuguna actively contributes to academic activities such as student mentoring, laboratory instruction, and departmental responsibilities. He is committed to strengthening his research profile while integrating practical design perspectives into teaching, with a focus on developing strong fundamentals and professional competence among undergraduate students.
