Mr. Manish Pratap Singh is an accomplished legal academic with more than six years of experience in legal academia, complemented by two years of industry exposure and practical experience in litigation. His academic and professional journey combines expertise in legal education, academic administration, academic events, research & innovation.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at College of Law, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, Mr. Singh is actively engaged in teaching, research, student mentoring and academic activities. Prior to joining Graphic Era, he has served as an Assistant Professor of Law at Noida International University, Greater Noida, where he also worked as a Research & Innovation Coordinator (RIC). He was involved in research promotion, academic administration, curriculum-related activities, student mentoring and the organization of academic and research events.

Prior to joining Noida International University, Mr. Singh has served as an Assistant Professor of Law at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow (2020-2025), where he coordinated the LL.M. programme and contributed to various departmental committees and academic and institutional activities.

His academic qualifications include an LL.M. in Corporate Laws from Amity University, Lucknow, LL.B. from the University of Lucknow, a Post Graduate Diploma in Media Law, Entertainment and Ethics from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow. He has qualified UGC-NET (Law) in December 2019 and also holds an MBA in Marketing & HR from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. His Ph.D. thesis, titled “Role of Independent Directors under Corporate Law and Its Impact on Corporate Governance in India,” has been submitted at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow.

Mr. Singh's primary research interests include Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, Independent Directors, Corporate Accountability, Criminal Justice, Human Rights and contemporary legal issues. He has published several research articles in journals of national and international repute.

Before entering legal academia, Mr. Singh gained practical legal experience as an Advocate before the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and as a Legal Associate with KMA Law Office, New Delhi. He also worked with The Nielsen Company as a Data Acquisition Auditor, gaining valuable corporate and industry exposure and experience in data acquisition, team supervision and analytical reporting.

His academic contributions include serving as a Research & Innovation Coordinator, Organising Secretary & Track Moderator for international conferences, coordinating the LL.M. programme and being invited as a Judge and External Examiner for various academic competitions and examinations.
