Mr. Paritosh Mishra

Assistant Professor Mechanical Engineering

I am an academician and researcher in Mechanical Engineering with research interests in solid-state welding, solid mechanics, experimental stress analysis, fracture mechanics, and mechanical vibrations. My work in solid-state welding focuses on understanding material flow, microstructural evolution, and the mechanical performance of joints to enhance strength, reliability, and defect-free joining. In solid mechanics, I study stress–strain behavior and deformation mechanisms of materials subjected to complex loading conditions. My research in experimental stress analysis involves the application of advanced experimental techniques to accurately evaluate stress distribution and to validate analytical and numerical models. A significant area of my work is fracture mechanics, where I investigate crack initiation, propagation, and failure mechanisms to improve structural integrity and damage tolerance. I am also engaged in the study of mechanical vibrations, emphasizing dynamic response analysis, vibration control, and condition monitoring of mechanical systems. Alongside research, I am highly passionate about teaching with innovation, adopting modern pedagogical approaches and experiential learning to inspire students.
