Message from Chancellor

GEU has seamlessly integrated its curriculum with the New Education Policy (NEP) of India by embracing flexibility, interdisciplinarity, and holistic learning through the incorporation of vocational and skill-oriented courses alongside core academic subjects. Emphasis is being placed on experiential learning, including internships, fieldwork, project-based learning, and research exposure, ensuring that students acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical competencies and problem-solving abilities. These initiatives of GEU are likely to go a long way in fulfilling the vision of the NEP for an empowered and enlightened India.

Currently, GEU is in the process of upgrading its website to further enhance its academic and institutional outreach. In an increasingly digital world, the website of a university is no longer just an information portal; it is the institution’s identity, reflecting its values, academic excellence, innovation, and commitment to students, faculty, researchers, and society at large. A modern, dynamic, and user-friendly website plays a decisive role in shaping the first impression of the university for prospective students, collaborators, funding agencies, and international partners.

The present upgradation is not merely a technical enhancement but a strategic investment in its future. It is my sincere hope that the upgraded website strengthens governance, improves service delivery, enhances academic visibility, and promotes global engagement.
