Dr. Ashish Kaushal

Assistant Professor Agriculture

Dr. Ashish Kaushal is serving as an Assistant Professor with PhD in Horticulture (Vegetable Science). His research interests encompass vegetable breeding, genetic and genomics, and sustainable vegetable production systems. His scholarly work primarily focuses on the genetic enhancement of vegetable crops for quality improvement, stress tolerance breeding, and the integration of advanced biotechnological tools in horticultural research. He has successfully guided 12 M.Sc. students in their thesis research and continues to mentor young researchers in the field of horticultural sciences. Dr. Kaushal has contributed extensively to the scientific community through research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, edited volumes and book chapters in the field of horticultural sciences.
