


Assistant Professor Agriculture
Dr. Pragya Goswamy is an Assistant Professor specializing in Agricultural Extension and Communication, with over three years of professional experience in teaching, research, and capacity building. She completed her Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension and Communication from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.
Previously, she served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow under the Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Component of the World Bank-funded National Agricultural Higher Education Project (IDP-NAHEP) at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. During her tenure, she contributed to innovative reforms in agricultural education, identified niche areas in agriculture, and organized over 50 capacity-building programmes, guest lectures, and summits. She has been recognized for her leadership, teamwork, and collaborative approach.
Dr. Goswamy has qualified both UGC-NET in Adult Education/Continuing Education/Andragogy/Non-formal Education and ICAR-NET in Agricultural Extension. She has actively participated in several international, national, and regional conferences, seminars, and workshops, presenting research papers on contemporary issues in agricultural extension and communication. Her scholarly contributions include publications in the form of books, research papers, and popular articles focusing on agricultural extension, communication strategies, group dynamics, and participatory approaches in rural development. She has also attended numerous professional development trainings and faculty development programmes (FDPs), reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning.
