Dr Rajneesh Bhardwaj holds a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology from HNB Garhwal University and doctoral degree in Genetics and Plant breeding from GBPUA&T Pantnagar. His doctoral work includes validation of molecular markers associated with resistant to botrytis grey mould disease in chickpea. His broader area of research includes Traditional and Molecular breeding, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology, Plant Genetic resource conservation and utilization. Dr. Rajneesh loves teaching and always keen to develop new methodologies to make things simpler and easy to understand for his students. Being a science enthusiast, he always encourages student to adopt multidisciplinary approach to channelise their ideas. Dr Rajneesh believe in the holistic development of students and strongly advocate about the need of physical and moral education in overall development of student.
