Dr. Rituraj Patwal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. He received his B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University in 2012, the M.Tech, and Ph.D. degree from Thapar University. His research interests include power system optimization, renewable energy integration, hydrothermal and solar-integrated power system scheduling, smart grid technologies, intelligent energy management systems, and nature-inspired metaheuristic optimization algorithms. He has published research papers in more than ten high–impact factor international journals, including Energy Conversion and Management and Renewable Energy, among other reputed SCI-indexed journals. He regularly participates in faculty development programs and academic training initiatives related to grid resilience, adaptive control, digitalization of energy systems, and sustainable energy planning. His academic and research work focuses on advancing reliable, efficient, and low-carbon power systems in line with national and global sustainability objectives.
