Divya Gunsola is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) in Dehradun, India. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Department of Microbiology, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) in Dehradun, India. She completed her Postgraduate studies in Microbiology from (D.B.S.-P.G. College, Dehradun) Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India in 2023, and her undergraduate degree in B.Sc. Medical Microbiology from Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India in 2020. Additionally, she successfully completed an internship program at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital in Dehradun and short term training from Rapture Biotech, Dehradun, India in 2023. Ms. Gunsola has contributed to several recent publications in in leading magazines and journals. Her research primarily revolves around sustainable agriculture, biocontrol agents, plant-microbe interactions, and natural antimicrobial compounds. Key areas include the role of plant hormones like strigolactones in promoting plant growth and controlling parasitic weeds, genome mining for bioprospecting biocontrol mechanisms, development of commercial biocontrol formulations.
