A Call to Action for Earth Day 2025 – “Our Power, Our Planet”

On April 22, SDG-YEC, GEU, in collaboration with the Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance, Govt. of Uttarakhand, and the departments of HSS & Mechanical Engineering, hosted a vibrant Earth Day celebration. Inaugurated by Hon’ble VC Prof. (Dr.) Narpinder Singh, the day began with a Cleanliness Drive, followed by a powerful rally, slogan recitations, and a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak.

Volunteer students from NCC, NSS, SDG-YEC, and the Department of HSS, GEU, actively contributed to this noble cause—demonstrating unity and purpose in action. Students also showcased creativity in the Slogan Writing & Poster Making Competitions and embraced mindful digital habits through the Digital Well-being Challenge. Over 100 students, faculty members, and municipal supporters came together in a remarkable display of community spirit and environmental commitment.
