Debating Society of Graphic era deemed to be University, in collaboration with Department of Humanities and Social sciences, Management Studies, Department of Commerce organised an inter university 2- Day debating fest on 5& 7the April 2-25 in the Silver Jubilee convention center . Debathon 2.0 was dedicated to fostering critical thinking, public discourse, and awareness on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event featured workshops, competitive segments, and cultural performances, bringing together students from diverse disciplines.

Day 1 included:

An interactive workshop on The Art of Public Speaking by Mr. Navneet Gairola

CHARCHA– A group discussion challenge judged by a distinguished panel

Kaun Banega Debathon Winner – A quiz-cum-debate segment encouraging quick thinking and articulation

Day 2

The Grand Finale commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and a vibrant Uttarayani folk performance, followed by the final rounds of CHARCHA and the Kaun Banega Debathon Winner (KBD).

The event was graced by Mr. Indukumar Pandey, a noted academician, current financial advisor to the Government of Uttarakhand, whose keynote address emphasized the role of student dialogue in promoting sustainability and inclusive development.
