The Department of Environmental Science in Collaboration with the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences organized an International Conference on ‘Science, Spirituality and Sustainability’ on 22nd & 23rd February 2025. The inaugural session commenced with welcoming all the guests, followed by Saraswati Vandana.

This was followed by the launch of 4 books and Honey Cerana, by the honorable chief guest Mr. Subodh Uniyal Ji and presentation of conference souvenirs to all the esteemed guests. Dr. Rajesh Naithani then introduced the theme of the conference- “Science, Spirituality and Sustainability 2025”, after which the convener Dr. Pratibha Naithani presented a token of thanks to all the guests of honor. Thereafter the Conference convener further elaborated upon the theme of the conference and introduced key highlights of the event, followed by an introductory remark by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Prof. Narpinder Singh, where he established the connection between ancient knowledge and the progress in science. The Conference had four plenary sessions on different themes taken up by Resource persons from eminent International Universities. Around 232 participants from across the globe participated in the event.
