Saajhi Virasat, held on 4th October 2025, was a vibrant celebration of India’s shared heritage, organized by The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), The Debating Society, and HRDC in collaboration with NSS and the Quizzing Community, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University).
The event featured a series of engaging and intellectually enriching activities. Team Rangmanch presented powerful performances depicting the life and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. A key highlight was the book review session “Panno Ki Baatein” by Dr Sanjeev Chopra, former Director of LBSNAA, who shared insightful reflections on The Great Conciliator: Lal Bahadur Shastri and the Transformation of India. The program also included the Gandhi–Shastri Quiz Competition and BaatCheet 6.0, a thought-provoking debate on self-reliance versus globalization. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony celebrating participants’ achievements, an inspiring address from Dr. Prabha Lama (HOD, HSS), and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Bharti Sharma.
